Curiosity
Ceuso is the wine that bears the company name and the name of the area where the vineyards stand. In the
local dialect ceuso means mulberry, the plant introduced by the Arabs over a thousand years whose leaves
are fed to silkworms. Ceuso is the child of the Sicilian indigenous varietal par excellence Nero d'Avola
together with two extraordinary international varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Ceuso is a truly
accomplished great red, complex and elegant, aged in French oak barriques for twelve months and then a
further twelve months of bottle refinement. Ceuso is a fine wine embodying all the characteristics that make
it eminently suitable for long-term ageing.
